The Portable Highway Safety Barricade is manufactured from polyethylene making it a tough, portable, energy absorbing safety barrier. It has been specifically designed for work zone protection and traffic channeling and will provide extra protection to both workers and drivers when filled with a water ballast. The Highway Barricade was independently tested at Karco Engineering and has been approved by the Federal Highway Administration. Easily re-directing the vehicle away from oncoming traffic, the Highway Barricade withstood a 62 mph impact with a minimum amount of injury to the driver. The Portable Highway Safety Barricade can also be used in a variety of civilian applications including: traffic control and channeling, bridges, roads, work zones, construction areas, lane delineation, national and state parks, serpentine approaches, crowd control, vehicle control, security lanes and parking lots. It can also provide excellent security for police and fire departments. Capable of being easily positioned without engineering support, this barricade will provide excellent protection in any application.

Barricade is not just a decorative planter but it’s really a quick, effective, safety and anti-terrorism item. This plastic portable barricade can be positioned without heavy equipment or engineering support. The quick fill, with water or sand as ballast, affords a major step in provided protection in most any application. Simply drain the water and reposition as necessary. The 18" deep x 24" wide plant area is ideal for flowers or small shrubs, as dictated by the decorator, for full effect in disguising the barricade. The horticulturists gave the dimensions as ideal for plant growth. The 8 foot long x 4 foot high x 3+ foot wide barricade, with nicely rounded corners, make this a very attractive item with the ability to function as a major factor in your Force Protection and Anti-Terrorism Program. This product is ideal to protect and provide security for gate entrances, doors, parking lot dividers and most any type building such as; military, state, federal as well as U.S. embassy. Custom colors are available. Other shapes and sizes can be built to your individual idea or specification. The Barricade is cheaper than concrete and easier to handle.

When strategically located, the Bollard will give 24-hour protection and there’s no need to worry about appearance. With its stone washed look it will make an aesthetically pleasing addition to your security. Capable of being customized for any situation the CBP Bollard Cap is manufactured with the following sizes: cap diameters: 18”, 20”, 24”, and 28”; corresponding cap heights: 42”, 48”, 54” and 60”. These precision controlled sizes ensure that the Cap will fit over any steel bollards that are between from 3’ to 5’ in height. The Bollards Caps can also be customized to fit any size, shape or situation by simply measuring your existing steel bollard and calling us with your specific needs. If requested, CBP will also manufacture the steel bollard to fit inside the Bollard Cap. The Steel Bollard comes in the following sizes: bollard diameters: 6”, 8”, 10, and 12”; corresponding bollard heights: 36”, 42”, 48” and 54”.

The 4836SO barricade is easily moved by hand, without engineering support, to provide excellent protection in any application. Simply position the barricade and fill with water or sand for ballast, as determined by the threat level. Empty and recover for repositioning. The barricade is made of rotationally molded plastic and is therefore maintenance free, with no need of paint and no metal to rust. Patented, tested and deployed makes this the premium item for anti terrorism and force protection. The steel cable connection rope setup feature, which is optional, creates a wall that is virtually impossible to penetrate. CBP has conducted live fire tests with 50 cal. & 155 fragmentation shrapnel and these tests were conducted by independent labs. HP White- Report on request.

The Stanchion is manufactured of rotationally molded plastic using water or sand as ballast. The separate post slips out from the bottom of the base thus lending ease for assembly and storage. The 1/4" nominal thickness of plastic plus the weight when filled with ballast affords the unit more stability from high winds or jet blast. Each unit weighs 18.5 Lbs. empty, 65 Lbs. when filled with water and 120 Lbs. when filled with sand. We have molded a 3/8-16 stainless steel thread insert in the top of the unit post to allow installation of a reflector, handle, sign, plastic tape or many other uses. Reflective tape stripping can be applied.
