proxSafe is a simple, efficient key management system designed to prevent lost or stolen keys. The system provides electronic tracking & audit trail capability of key usage. This product is the only key management system that uses contact-less “RFID” (advanced proximity card technology) to identify the keys. Contact-less technology is very reliable, (No dirt on contacts means that the key tag is always correctly read. NO PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE REQUIRED. Contact technology by its very nature can be unreliable. If the Electrical Contacts or "Smart Chips" are dirty, a key will not be read correctly when returned, resulting in false alarms or keys assigned to “unknown” users). What makes this product unique? 1. Contact-less RFID Key Tags – Not only is the RFID key tag reliable, reading the key tag like a proximity card allows a user to quickly return a key. proxSafe is fast and convenient and dramatically improves user acceptance of the system. 2. Automatic Roller Shutter Door – No more forgetting to close a door. The Roller Shutter Door is designed to: save space; less room required to operate the system, increase security surveillance; a swing door can potentially cause blind spots from security staff and/or surveillance cameras, safety; a swing door left open can be a safety hazard.
