Global Gaming Initiatives

With 20 years of hands on experience, Global Gaming Initiatives has the greatest insight as to what the end user wishes to see in a casino and gaming product. From his entry into gaming management in 1987, Mr. Meyer held operational and internal audit positions with such entities as International Gaming Technology (IGT) and Bally Gaming’s subsidiary, United Gaming. In September 1994, the Mandalay Resort Group (MRG) opened the Grand Victoria Casino. Mr. Meyer held the position of Director of Slot Operations / Player Development until 1998. MRG reassigned Mr. Meyer to oversee the renovation of the Excalibur slot product and assume the Slot Director position. With the close of the MGM / Mirage acquisition of the Mandalay Resort Group, Mr. Meyer moved from Slot Operations to managing Revive Gaming. Revive was MGM / Mirage’s gaming device development subsidiary acquired through the merger with MRG. Revive’s product success caught the eyes of IGT, who later purchased the subsidiary.
