Lightstreamer (Weswit Srl)

Lightstreamer is a push engine for live data distribution. Based on the AJAX-Comet paradigm it streams real-time data to an HTML browser without the need to download or install anything on the client, updating the changed data on the screen without reloads. Lightstreamer was originally developed by the Financial Systems Integration activity of privately held Par-Tec group (founded in 1998). Weswit Srl was subsequently created as an Independent Software Vendor within the group to provide Lightstreamer 'Push' middleware solutions for streaming real-time data in application areas such as finance and gaming.
