Formed in January 2002, Mobius Risk Group, LLC is a commodity advisory firm that provides large energy-consuming companies, utilities and municipalities with innovative solutions to reduce exposure to energy market risks, improve energy procurement decisions, optimize and value assets, reduce energy consumption, and improve bottom-line financial performance.
Mobius works exclusively on behalf of our clients – either augmenting their in-house risk and energy capabilities or acting as an in-source partner. Mobius performs energy risk advisory services, procurement services (strategy, negotiation and execution), values and manages assets (generation, pipeline capacity, nominations and balancing and storage), acts as owners‘ representative in the development and management of energy engineering and demand reduction opportunities as well as provides a full menu of management reports for budgeting, operations, and regulatory requirements (i.e. F.A.S. and Sarbanes-Oxley).
