Paragon Imaging helped pioneer the field of commercially available image processing software. Specifically, Paragon Imaging has created a family of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software that complies to commercial standards and to the National Imagery Transmission Format (NITF) standard. This standard is widely used by the U.S. government and promotes interoperability of image processing across many types of users.
