Scott Dawes has over 30 years of construction experience. After spending 10 years with Dallas based HCB Contractors as a Project Superintendent where he excelled in construction management, scheduling, safety, training, and Subcontractor relations, he spent 3 years with Los Angeles based Obayashi America Corporation. Scott founded his first company, The Dawes Corporation in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1996 and oversaw it's growth into a multi-million dollar construction firm. In 2005, he purchased All Steel Building Company and relocated his business interests to the Tulsa, Oklahoma Area.

Dawes has become a well recognized solutions provider specializing in difficult projects. In 1993, he was employed as Vice President of Construction and Director of Facilities for the Stratosphere Corporation, a Las Vegas, Nevada based Hotel and Casino. In this capacity, Dawes was responsible for the design coordination, code compliance and construction of the Stratosphere Tower, the tallest free standing observation structure in the United States, as well as the hotel and casino additions which together, totaled $450 million.

Other complex "high profile" projects that he has successfully built include the Chukchansi Gold Casino Resort, a $200 million complex built in just 36 weeks in a remote California mountain setting; the award winning $93 million Delta Center in Salt Lake City for the NBA Utah Jazz basketball team, in which a national record was set for the fastest arena built; the $120 million Albuquerque Plaza, the tallest buildings in New Mexico; MBank within Momentum Place in Dallas Texas, at nearly $70 million, one of the most expensive lease improvements undertaken in the United States to the year 1987; Hyatt Regency in the Denver Tech Center in Colorado; and the Southwestern Bell headquarters in Dallas Texas.

As a result of his interest in the local business community and the construction industry, Scott serves as a Director for a Tulsa Business Advisory Board with Bank of Oklahoma and maintains active memberships with the AIA, PMI, DBI and AACE.
