The Gordon House Association

The Gordon House Association is established for the relief of any form of physical and mental distress and suffering resulting from problem gambling in all its aspects and in particular: to establish and maintain homes and hostels for those in need of shelter and support in consequence of compulsive gambling; to make contributions towards the establishment, maintenance and management of such homes and hostels; to provide, in connection with such homes and hostels, a rehabilitative program to address the causes and effects of a dependency on gambling; to encourage and finance research into the nature, causes and effects of problem gambling and into methods of alleviating such causes and effects and to publish and disseminate the results of such research; to promote research, experimental work, scientific investigation and development into any other aspect of the work of the Association and to disseminate the useful results of such: to contribute to public debate about problem gambling and dependency on such gambling.
