Interactive Gaming Council (IGC)

Formed in 1996, the Interactive Gaming Council (IGC) is a non-profit trade association that serves as a collective voice for the interactive gaming industry, with its membership operating or supplying services to most of the reputable interactive sites on the World Wide Web.

The IGC builds credibility in the industry and creates member benefits by aggressively addressing legislative and regulatory challenges and opportunities in order to promote fair and responsible gambling.

The Kentucky Supreme Court has ruled against the owners of 141 seized online gambling domain names, reversing an earlier decision by the Court of Appeals that said the domain names aren’t gambling devices under Kentucky law.
