Our Story begins in 1985, when a trio of young entrepreneurs opened the first Java City coffeehouse in an old brick building near the State Capitol in Sacramento, California and began roasting their own beans using a century-old method.

At Java City, our love of coffee comes through in everything we do. Java City offers a unique specialty coffee that is distinctively smooth with world-wide taste appeal.
