Jazz Ain't Dead is a live urban Jazz Music and Dance collective known for taking classical jazz standards and re-igniting them into house, acid jazz, funk, and soul. All shows feature live musicians, live dancers, live singers, and live DJ with frequent "sit-ins" from special guest singers and musicians and major label recording artists.

Designed for high roller parties, our shows are elegantly sexy with taste and are created for true discerning music connoisseurs. Current shows that we are running are Jazz Ain't Dead Celebrates the Legacy of George Gershwin's Porgy and Bess. Show features ten selections of songs from Gershwin's legendary operatic score re-imagined into swing, house, acid jazz, acid lounge, blues, funk, and soul. We are also running Jazz Ain't Dead: The JAD Lounge featuring contemporary jazz, house, acid jazz, and neo-soul of JAD original works plus cover interpretations of classic jazz standards and artists such as Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Esperanza Spalding, Teena Marie, Prince, and Stevie Wonder.

This show is high-energy and because Jazz Ain't Dead is in essence of jam band, the show is quite never really the same. New music is added all the time including neo-soul/house and acid jazz originals as well as contemporary jazz, soul, and straight ahead covers.
