Vigilant Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of BATM Advanced Telecommunications Ltd is a worldwide leading provider of intelligent video recording and surveillance solutions for mission-critical applications. The focus is on adding analytical value to the video that is captured by customers’ CCTV networks.

Vigilant’s high frame rate solutions allow customers to break free from ineffective time lapse recording solutions. They enable demanding environments such as airports, banks, casinos, hospitals, prisons, schools and universities to gain maximum benefit from today’s digital video recording technology.

Vigilant’s products are designed for mid to large-scale installations in multi-user, mission-critical environments. Large installations require reliable, efficient, cost-effective video storage, decision support, intelligent image analysis, and the ability to upgrade the system as new features are introduced and new industry standards and applications emerge.

The core capabilities present in all of the Company’s products are: the recording, manipulation, storage and retrieval, analysis and transmission of digital video and audio for both live and recorded applications. Vigilant provides users with flexible and scalable/modular mission-critical systems, which can easily be modified to reflect customers’ particular budget, requirements and applications (as high value installations often tend to be large scale and complex). The basic design is inherently capable of providing functionality and additional add-ons.

The NetView Control Console is a video surveillance control unit that provides control room operators with unprecedented capabilities. The product is a unique, touch screen unit, designed to replace multiple control modules such as a CCTV keyboard, PC Keyboard and mouse. The product delivers a new operational methodology that seamlessly fuses traditional quick switching of selected camera to selected monitor and hierarchical mapping for environment & situation awareness, both enhanced to support unlimited feature set.

The Vigilant products line is designed for the high-end Surveillance environments requiring real time video (25/30 frame per seconds or adjustable frame rate for each channel), high-resolution (D1, 4CIF) recording and a highly robust platform. It offers the best cost/performance ratio available in the market. A single Vigilant server (4U by 19") can accept 16 channels (cameras), recording at full rate and high resolution 24/7 up to 10 days on RAID-5 internal storage. To achieve larger-scale installations, servers are networked creating a modular architecture with unlimited external storage that can accommodate any number of CCTV cameras.
