Aristocrat Technologies, Harrah's Entertainment Sign Agreement

LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., a Las Vegas-based provider of gaming machines and casino management systems, announced an agreement with Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: HET) to supply up to 1,000 video slot games at Harrah's 25 casinos.

This agreement with Harrah's is very significant for Aristocrat," said Gavin Isaacs, President of Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. "It allows us to expand our video slot games throughout Harrah's widespread casino operations and provides us with the opportunity to supply games to a highly regarded casino operator known for providing innovative games and outstanding entertainment for the player."

Under the terms of the agreement, Aristocrat began installing the first order of games in December 2003 at Harrah's, Harveys, Rio, and Showboat casinos nationwide operated by Harrah's. Full installation depends upon the initial games achieving certain performance levels.

"If the Aristocrat games perform as well as we anticipate, we would expect them to maintain or enhance their position as one of our key suppliers of games on Harrah's slot floors."

In addition, these games will support the rapid rollout of Fast Cash, Harrah's coinless initiative."

Under the purchase agreement, Aristocrat will install an array of its MKVI(TM) video slots. Aristocrat offers a large library of MKVI games based on the Company's robust MKVI slot platform. All MKVI games offer high-impact sound, 3-D effect animation, over 1.6 million colors, and a range of bonusing options.
