Aristocrat Technologies Names VP

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. today announced that Brad Johnson has been named Vice President, Marketing for its Americas business.

Johnson will oversee all of Aristocrat Technologies' marketing activities, including product management, public relations, brand communication, trade shows, advertising, and promotions. He will report directly to Aristocrat Technologies President Gavin Isaacs and work closely with Kent Young, Aristocrat's Global General Manager of Marketing.

"Brad is a top caliber executive with extensive background in product management, business development, and communications, and his background in all facets of the gaming industry is very impressive," Isaacs said. His experience and skills, coupled with the strong relationships he has developed with gaming operators, manufacturers, vendors, and gaming regulators, will be great assets to Aristocrat as we take our business to the next level."

Johnson joins Aristocrat from Paltronics Inc., where he served as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development and Interim Chief Operating Officer. In this role he led development of the sales program for North America; instituted the first marketing functions for the company; developed strategic partnerships, and oversaw intellectual property management.

Before that, Johnson started his own company, Madness Gaming Products Inc., which invented and distributed a table game product line. Madness Gaming also consulted to AC Coin & Slot and assisted in the design and development of their Slotto and RNG slot product line.

Prior to Madness Gaming, Johnson served as Marketing & Financial Analyst for International Game Technology (IGT), where he analyzed and provided reports on the company's Mega-jackpot systems. During his tenure with IGT he also launched and managed the Wide Area Marketing (WAM) system to test new games in the field and conducted market research.

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin.
