Aristocrat Technologies President Honored

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Aristocrat Technologies President
Gavin Isaacs was named "Gaming Professional of the Year" by the Casino
Management Association of Southern Nevada (CMASNV), a non-profit corporation
that provides resources for gaming industry professionals. Isaacs will be
honored at the 2004 Gaming Voice Awards Wednesday, October 6 from 4 p.m. to
5:30 p.m. in the Premier Ballroom of the MGM Grand Conference Center.

The "Gaming Professional of the Year" award is presented to professionals
who have made significant contributions to the gaming industry. Mary Lynn
Palenik, president of the CMASNV, said Isaacs was selected because of his
longevity in the industry and his success leading Aristocrat Technologies to
the competitive forefront of the supplier market. This is the second year the
association has given the award.

"I am thrilled to have been selected for this honor by the Casino
Management Association of Southern Nevada," Isaacs said. "Aristocrat
Technologies is fast emerging as a leader in the American gaming industry,
dedicated to providing groundbreaking games and systems and superior customer

The Chief Executive Officer of Aristocrat, Paul Oneile, congratulated
Gavin on his award. "It is a wonderful achievement for Gavin and a
recognition by the industry of the outstanding success that Gavin and the team
at Aristocrat Technologies have achieved recently," he said.

Named President in March 2003, Isaacs has the responsibility of managing
North and South American businesses for global gaming leader Aristocrat
Leisure Limited, parent company of Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. Under his
leadership, Aristocrat Technologies is coming off the heels of its strongest
half-year earnings in company history. In the first half of 2004, the
Company's North American revenue grew by 44 percent on a local currency basis
with game and platform sales increasing by nearly 60 percent.

Under Isaacs' leadership, Aristocrat Technologies has significantly
increased its U.S. games product portfolio and game performance, with
Aristocrat games consistently experiencing win-per-day above floor average.
With Isaacs at the helm, the Company has also expanded its presence in Canada,
launched a new line of spinning reel slots, positioned the Company's business
in South America for growth, and strengthened its customer service program,
which is now acknowledged as one of the industry's best.

The CMASNV was formed to provide gaming professionals with a medium to
communicate best practices, share developments in the industry and network
with leaders in the field. Members range from gaming manufacturers and
suppliers to leading industry analysts and consultants.

Isaacs, a trustee of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys and
a director of the American Gaming Association, was nominated for the Gaming
Professional of the Year award by CMASNV members and was selected by the
association's board members. A nominee must hold a position of authority and
responsibility at his or her current organization, must have made a
significant contribution to the industry, and must possess a minimum of
five years of experience in the broader gaming industry.
