Beau Rivage Resort and Casino celebrates 25 years

(PRESS RELEASE) -- A celebration like no other is underway in 2024 as Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, MGM Resort International’s crown jewel on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, celebrates its 25th anniversary. The award-winning resort opened its doors to the public on 15 March 1999, and to celebrate, the weekend of 15 and 16 March will offer guests a variety of entertainment, exciting casino promotions and a spectacular drone show that will light up the night sky.

Saturday, 16 March Celebration
Mark the calendar for Saturday, 16 March, as the observation of Beau Rivage’s 25th anniversary. A pictorial timeline highlighting key events in Beau Rivage’s history and its community impact begins in the shopping promenade, near Roasted Bean, and will guide guests to the resort’s atrium where complimentary cake will be served at 4 p.m.

Outside, two free family-friendly events highlight the weekend starting with the St. Patrick’s Day parade through downtown Biloxi, beginning at 2 p.m. At 9 p.m., the skies over Beau Rivage and Biloxi light up with a dazzling choreographed drone show celebrating Beau Rivage’s 25 years on the Coast. Free public viewing will be available along the beach and on Beau Rivage’s 6th floor parking garage. The 500-drone spectacular will be choreographed to music, which can be heard by downloading a free app available at www.beaurivage.com.

Casino Promotions
High-energy gaming action heats up even more with several casino promotions centered around the anniversary. Beau Rivage’s 25th Anniversary Celebration $250,000 Giveaway will culminate at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, 16 March, with $250,000 in prizes including FREEPLAY or TABLEPLAY. and $200,000 cash up for grabs.

From 12-16 March, players can receive a commemorative 25th Anniversary Water Bottle when 300 points MGM Rewards are earned on their card.

In addition to anniversary promotions, the Year of the Dragon is celebrated through 24 March with the Dragon’s Roar $150,000 Baccarat Drawing Series. At 9 p.m. on Sunday, 25 February and Sunday, 24 March, five winners will be drawing to win $10,000 each in TABLEPLAY.

To commemorate its 25th year, Beau Rivage will offer a one-time edition $25 gaming chip featuring the anniversary logo. Chips may be purchased at the cashier cage, located near the High Limit room on the back of the casino floor.

Entertainment
Beau Rivage Theatre
Recognized as the premier entertainment venue in the Southeast, Beau Rivage has a slate of top headline entertainers scheduled to perform in the Beau Rivage Theatre throughout its 25th year.

Comedian Kevin James, who rose to fame for his role on “The King of Queens” and for appearances on the silver screen in “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” and “Zookeeper,” makes a stop on his “Owls Don’t Walk” tour at Beau Rivage Theatre on 1 March. The next night, 12-time Grammy and platinum-selling R&B singer, songwriter and producer Babyface takes the stage for a performance to remember starting at 8 p.m.

Blues titan and guitar virtuoso Joe Bonamassa, who began his career at the age of 12 opening for the legendary B.B, King, will electrify the crowd with his performances at Beau Rivage on 8 and 9 March. Bonamassa has notched 11 No. 1 Billboard hits and earned three Grammy Awards for Best Blues Album in 2014, Best Traditional Blues Album in 2017 and Best Contemporary Blues Album in 2022.

EIGHT75 and Black Clover Lounge
Every night’s a party in Beau Rivage’s ultra lounge, EIGHT75, with live entertainment seven nights a week. The Coast’s most popular cover band Triggerproof takes the stage on anniversary celebration weekend, putting a variety of favorites from pop, rock and hip-hop through the musical blender to recreate both popular and classic radio-friendly hits.

The swanky Black Clover Lounge hosts Troubadour Thursday and Slow Jam Saturdays throughout the month of March, with Brandon Green performing from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, 16 March.

Food & Beverage
Dining outlets throughout the resort will feature anniversary specials, including a return of the popular Biloxi Blonde. For the 25th anniversary celebration, BetMGM will be reintroducing the original Kolsch from Beau Rivage’s Coast Brewing Company, Mississippi’s first microbrewery. The brainchild of Brewmaster Brian Bush, Biloxi Blonde was originally brewed in the iconic copper kettles that launched Mississippi’s craft beer industry and returns for a limited time through a special collaboration with Chandeleur Brewing Company. The crisp light beer will be available exclusively at Beau Rivage.

BR Prime will offer an Eagle Rare Whiskey flight, with three one-ounce pours of Eagle Rare 25 year, 15 year and 10 year, served on a custom-made 25th anniversary flight board; as well as 1999 Vintage Dom Perignon Champagne from March through September. During Beau Rivage’s anniversary week, special filets and porterhouse steaks will be featured in BR Prime.

At Stalla, a Prix Fixe menu will be offered 15 and 16 March for $55. The celebratory feast includes an appetizer of zuppa, Italian sausage and spinach tortellini, followed by a Tour of Italy with a classic three cheese manicotti, spaghetti and meatballs, sauteed rapini and crabcake stuffed shrimp with lemon butter, dolce. Dinner will be punctuated by Napoleon ice cream with berries for dessert.

From the Stalla bar, house-made limoncello flights with strawberry, classic and rhubarb flavors will be offered for $19.99 throughout September. Jia, Beau Rivage’s Pan-Asian restaurant, will also offer a 25th anniversary flight of Japanese whiskey showcasing Nikka Toichi single malt, Nikka Miyagikyo since malt and Nikka Taketsuru for $25.

Throughout March, The Roasted Bean and Snacks will showcase a 25th anniversary butter pecan opera torte, while The Daiquiri Shop will feature seasonal crawfish tacos.

Beau Rivage’s award-winning lounge EIGHT75 presents a coffee infused Chopin vodka with Dorda chocolate liqueur, espresso, simple syrup, Frangelico and cream served with French macaroons and a sparkler from March through September. During that same timeframe, Black Clover Lounge and Topgolf Swing Suite will offer a smoked premiere negroni mixed with Nolet’s gin, Aperol liqueur and Carpano sweet vermouth smoked with cherry wood chips and served with a red velvet cupcake capped with a sparkler.
