Boyd Offers NASCAR Opportunity

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD) announced an exciting promotion with Coca-Cola and Memphis Motorsports Park to give race fans a unique chance to experience one of the most memorable NASCAR weekends ever with their ride-along "Race Day Give-A-Way" promotion. The special promotion offers fans more than just a chance to experience the thrills of a race-day weekend, but actually lets one lucky pair experience the pulse-pounding excitement of NASCAR trackside with one of the Coca-Cola Racing Family drivers.

The grand prize "Race Day Give-A-Way" includes a five-day, four-night trip to the Atlanta Motor Speedway and tickets to attend the NASCAR Busch and Nextel Cup Series races (October 29th & 30th). The racing action will be topped-off with an adrenaline rising ride-along with one of the Coca-Cola Racing Family drivers at the track on Thursday, October 27th. The accompanying guest of the winner will also ride around the track with a Richard Petty Driving Experience instructor. The special VIP package includes airfare for two, hotel accommodations, and $1,000 in spending money.

Now through the October 8th drawing at Sam's Town Tunica, entrants may obtain an entry form available by visiting the Prime Rewards Center on-site at the property. Participants can also earn an additional entry in the "Race Day Give-A-Way" promotion for every 50 points they earn inserting their Sam's Town Prime Rewards player's card into slot readers or presenting their card at table games. Participants can also earn points with their player's cards at the slots or video poker or table games (Poker room and live Keno play are excluded from earning additional entries).

On October 8th there will be two drawings at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. to reveal the grand prize winner. Five runner-up winners will receive a combination of either special NASCAR racing gift bags including autographed leather Coca-Cola Racing jackets, T-shirts, and a selection of other racing memorabilia as well as tickets to the upcoming Busch Series Sam's Town 250 race at Memphis Motorsports Park. One second-place winner will receive a trip for two to Atlanta, including coach-class airline tickets, hotel, two invitations to the Coca-Cola Racing Family Reunion 2005, two weekend race tickets, track-side hospitality passes, $300 in cash, and Coca-Cola Racing Family souvenirs.

All drawing winners will be announced over the public address system at Sam's Town Tunica and must be present at the property. There will be a two-minute window for winners to claim their prize after their names are called. Winning entrants must each choose from one of three envelopes during each round and receive the prize enclosed in the envelope. All entrants must be at least twenty-one years of age or older.

In tandem with the "Race Day Give-A-Way" promotion, racing fans can also look for the special Coca-Cola neckring advertising pieces which contain a $10-off adult admission to the October 22nd Sam's Town 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park, a coupon redeemable for a free Sam's Town T-shirt, and a 2-for-1 meal deal at Sam's Town's Great Buffet featuring Corky's Ribs and BBQ.
