Clarion Events and East Coast Gaming Congress co-sponsor coordinated iGaming events

LONDON -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Global iGaming Summit & Expo (GIGSE) 2014 has signed up to be a premium sponsor of the 18th Annual East Coast Gaming Congress 2014 and iGaming Institute, in a coordinated effort by both events to guide attendees who require a comprehensive, cost-effective understanding of i-gaming’s future in North America.

ECGC and iGaming Institute, the gaming industry’s largest conference outside of Nevada, will take place May 19-20, 2014, at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. GiGse 2014 takes place July 14-16 at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco.

ECGC and iGaming Institute co-founders Michael Pollock, managing director of Spectrum Gaming Group, and Lloyd Levenson, CEO of the Cooper Levenson law firm, issued a joint statement: “The two events dovetail perfectly in both timing and content. The theme of ECGC and iGaming Institute is ‘understanding convergence,’ and we developed this year’s conference to focus on policy issues relevant to both online and land-based gaming.”

For the second year GiGse will be co-located with the Social Casino Summit specifically designed to attract social casino developers and suppliers. The GiGse and ScS audience mix, and the events’ exciting location in the heart of the world’s innovation, technology and investment hub, San Francisco, means attendees can expect to learn from and meet both the CEOs from the most established casino companies and the aspiring start-ups they haven’t heard about before.

The East Coast Gaming Congress and iGaming Institute recognizes that attendees have a limited time and limited budget. The event is designed to make sure that all the critical issues – starting with Internet wagering – are dealt with in the same forum. Internet gaming cannot be viewed in isolation, and serious conferences must address the political and economic complexities that accompany such issues.

These two events are collectively designed to bring all the leaders – from government, suppliers and operators – who will collectively set the policies and make the decisions, into one place where their ideas can be cross-pollenated and placed in the broadest context.
