Clarion Gaming and ANJL forge alliance

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In a collaborative effort to connect, inform, and inspire the global gaming industry, Clarion Gaming unveiled its dynamic plans for ICE Barcelona 2026 during a high-level symposium held in Brasilia (3 September) featuring industry leaders and representatives of the Brazilian Government.

Organized by Clarion in collaboration with ANJL, Brazil’s National Association of Games and Lotteries, the meeting was attended by prominent figures including several representatives from the chamber of deputies alongside operators such as Kaizen Gaming and Aposta Ganha.

Reflecting the high-level engagement that exists between government, parliament, and industry, guests included Giovanni Rocco, secretary of betting and sports economic development, ministry of sports, Plínio Machado, president ANJL and Ricardo Magri, director EBAC.

Confirming Brazil’s growing importance on gaming’s international stage, Liliana Costa Clarion Gaming’s Director for Latin America outlined how ICE Barcelona will provide an opportunity for industry and government to meet, exchange insights, promote policy and foster sustainable growth.

She stated: “ICE will have an energized focus on Latin America with Brazil at the center of a dedicated program that will include seminars, regulatory updates, networking, and strategic discussions.

“In terms of specifics I can confirm the launch of Casa Brazil, an exclusive, private space dedicated exclusively to Brazil. A central theme of the Brasilia symposium was the shared commitment to combating illegal markets and fostering a secure, trustworthy environment for players and businesses.

“The 'Casa Brazil' initiative at ICE Barcelona will serve as a critical platform to share best practices, develop robust regulatory frameworks, and forge the international partnerships needed to shut down illicit operations and protect consumers. Our aim is to encourage dialogue, share knowledge, strengthen regulatory frameworks, and provide opportunities for the Brazilian sector to engage with global peers and explore international business prospects.”

Plinio Lemos Jorge, president of ANJL added: “The gathering, held in partnership with Clarion, was an important moment of integration for the regulated sector. We had the opportunity to align strategic agendas for the world’s largest gaming industry event, ICE 2026, and to strengthen connections that will contribute to the development of the betting market in Brazil. We have been making consistent progress, and the sector is already consolidating itself as an industry of undeniable significance for the country’s growth.”
