Eastern Gaming Conference Grows, Changes Name

1 October 2004

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – (PRESS RELEASE) -- As the gaming industry
continues its dramatic expansion throughout the Eastern United States, the
premier forum for charting the future of that industry is growing as well, and
has changed its name to the "East Coast Gaming Congress."

The conference, which is entering its ninth year, will be held May 26 at
historic Boardwalk Hall here.

"Our focus is growing to encompass the entire industry throughout the
east, and our name needs to reflect that expanding focus," said organizing
sponsor Brian R. Ford, who heads Ernst & Young's Gaming Services Division.
"It is appropriate to keep the conference in the same city where it all began,
in the capital of East Coast Gaming."

The conference maintains many of its core attractions, including the
Industry Leaders Forum, in which top CEOs from the world's leading casino
companies discuss the future of gaming. Additionally, top securities
analysts, public officials and others will be invited as well.

"This year, we are planning some changes as well, to reflect the dynamic
changes in the casino industry," said Thomas J. Sykes, a principal and
founding partner in the architectural design firm of Sykes O'Connor Salerno
Hazaveh, another organizing sponsor. "The mission, however, is the same: to
learn where the industry is heading, and determine how to get there."

Organizing sponsors of the conference are: Gaming Industry Observer, the
award-winning research arm of Spectrum Gaming Group that tracks trends that
impact gaming (http://www.gamingobserver.com); the law firm of Cooper Levenson
April Niedelman & Wagenheim, P.A. (http://www.cooperlevenson.com), an Atlantic
City firm with one of the world's leading gaming practices; SOSH Architects,
an architectural design firm based in Atlantic City and New York City, with
global experience in gaming and hospitality design, (http://www.sosharch.com);
and the accounting firm of Ernst & Young, LLP, recognized for its gaming and
entertainment expertise (http://www.ey.com).
