First Automobile Awarded at Borgata Winter Poker Open

The winner of the Borgata Winter Poker Open, January 29-February 1, will be driving home with a new Cadillac Escalade, as well at the $1+ million prize pool and a $25,000-seat in the WPT World Championship.

The car, to be awarded by the Borgata Hotel and Casino to inaugurate the Winter Poker Open on the WPT, will mark the first time an automobile will be presented to the winner of a WPT tournament, in addition to the traditional prize money and championship seat. As the WPT closes in on a season that will be within reach of $100 million in prize money, this new twist takes competing on the Tour to an even higher level.
