LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Global Gaming Business magazine today announced the winners of the Sixth Annual Gaming & Technology Awards. The Gaming & Technology Awards are the industry's standard in this field, recognizing excellence in innovation and practical application in all gaming disciplines. The awards were presented to the winners today at the International Casino Exposition (ICE) in London.

Judges for the Gaming & Technology Awards were: Robert Russell, editor of the Michigan Gaming Law Newsletter, and principal with Regulatory Management Counselors; James Wortman, Director, Gaming Education and Research Institute, Conrad Hilton College at the University of Houston; Charles Lombardo, slot consultant and former senior vice president of slot operations for Seminole Gaming and Caesars Palace; and Claudia Winkler, president, GHI Solutions Inc. in Las Vegas. Nominees for the award were evaluated during the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) on November 13-15, 2007 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

"These judges are considered the leaders in their fields, and these awards reflect the accepted industry standards of excellence," said Roger Gros, publisher of Global Gaming Business magazine, which administers the awards program.
