Global Cash Access forms strategic alliance with GameAccount Network

LAS VEGAS -- Global Cash Access Inc. will provide payment service products to GameAccount Network for its online gaming systems, the Las Vegas-based payments and cash access company said Tuesday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Global Cash Access products will be included in GameAccount Network's GameSTACK iGaming platform, which is being marketed to a developing U.S. online gaming market.

“We are excited to embark on this strategic alliance in order to give our common customers and players peace of mind throughout their entire interactive gaming experience,” said Tim Richards, general manager and senior vice president of Interactive Solutions at Global Cash Access.

According to its website, GameAccount creates specialized or offers off-the-shelf online gaming systems for flash, mobile or native apps. Based in London, the gaming company has an office in Las Vegas.

Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GameAccount Network, described Global Cash Access as a “trusted” payments processing provider for the gaming industry. Smurfit said the strategic alliance will help his company provide better service.
