GPT reports capital raise

BOHEMIA, New York -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Global Payment Technologies, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD SYMBOL:GPTX.OB)(GPT) announced an additional capital raise of $190,000 from three investors; two of its newly appointed directors, David Crompton and Steven Crisp, and Richard Soussa, a co owner of ecash Pty Ltd. The purchases were 200,000 and 500,000 and 250,000 shares respectively, of GPT common stock at $0.20 per share. The shares were purchased for investment purposes and are not registered. In addition each investor received warrants to purchase a further 200,000, 500,000 and 250,000 shares respectively, of GPT common stock at $0.28 per share. The warrants expire in March 2012.
