IGT file shares resale

RENO, Nevada – (PRESS RELEASE) -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) today announced the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission of its Registration Statement on Form S-3 relating to the resale of its 2.60% Convertible Debentures due 2036, and the common stock issuable upon conversion of such debentures.

The debentures were originally issued in a private placement in December 2006. The Registration Statement is deemed effective upon filing pursuant to applicable securities law. IGT will not receive any proceeds from any resale by the selling security holders of the debentures or the shares of common stock issuable upon conversion of the debentures.
