IGT inspires gaming world with Ellen DeGeneres Show video slots

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Global gaming entertainment leader IGT - International Game Technology has partnered with the daytime TV destination for laughter and fun to create two compelling slot machines: The Ellen DeGeneres Show Featuring Ellen's Dance Party Video Slots and The Ellen DeGeneres Show Featuring 12 Days of Giveaways Video Slots. Inspired by the Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the delightful duo of games will put players in the middle of their favorite "Ellen" moments and have them groovin' in their seats as they play for big jackpot payouts. IGT will debut the wildly entertaining pair of games at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Sept. 30 – Oct. 2.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres said, "I'm so excited to have my very own line of slot machines. People are gonna have the chance to play really fun games, have their own mini dance parties and win actual cold, hard cash. I mean, honestly, what more do you want from me?"

The widely anticipated games are housed on IGT's impressive CrystalCore cabinet. Boasting exceptional sound and visuals on a pristine 42" vertical touchscreen display, the two games present an unparalleled player experience. From the first spin of the reels, the famously familiar "Ellen" theme song emanates from each game and players are transported to the set of their favorite TV hour. The games include original voiceover work by Ellen DeGeneres, footage from several of her most-famed "Ellen" episodes that have propelled the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" into the broadcast viewership record books.

"IGT aspires to create the industry's most entertaining, globally appealing gaming experiences," said Joe Sigrist, IGT VP of Game Design and Global Product Management. "By partnering with a brand as legendary as 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' we are in a great position to engage with Ellen's millions of fans and drive play to our customers around the world."
