Inspired makes short list for two EGR awards

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Inspired, the leading provider of Virtual Sports, Mobile Games and SBG Video Lottery, today announces that it has been shortlisted for two awards at the coveted EGR Italy Awards 2015, in the categories of: Software Supplier and Sports Betting Supplier.

The EGR Italy 2015 Awards bring together Italy’s leading online operators and service providers, to celebrate excellence achieved across the industry over the past 12 months.

The shortlisting reflects the ongoing success of Inspired’s Virtuals proposition in Italy. Inspired has become renowned as the go-to virtual sports provider in Italy, supplying over 90% of the Italian market. Its products are available to Italian players in over 7,000 betting venues and on all of the main websites. Inspired is now facilitating approximately €90 million a month in bets across the whole of the country and 20% of all bets in Italy are made on its virtual sports. Inspired is also the only provider in Italy that supplies virtual sports for mobile, which is a huge area of growth and is driving 30% of the online operators’ revenues.

Inspired attributes its success to the significant R&D it undertook into the Italian player preferences. It developed a bespoke virtual for the Italian market (Virtual Horse Trotting) and will soon be launching its latest Virtual Rush Football 2 into the Italian marketplace, which boats ultra HD features and already considered to be the most advanced virtual sport in the industry. It has also developed a supercharged ‘Matchday’ format for Rush Football 2 in Italian, with industry veteran Massimo Caputi (RAI/ RTL 102.5) providing action-packed commentary.
