IP Casino contributes to Mississippi tornado relief

(PRESS RELEASE) -- To assist with the community's recovery from the recent tornadoes in Mississippi, Boyd Gaming and IP Casino Resort and Spa donated $25,000 to American Red Cross on Thursday, 16 February to support local relief efforts.

"Boyd Gaming is proud to partner with the American Red Cross as they provide much-needed support to our Mississippi neighbors during this difficult time," said Vince Schwartz, Senior Vice President of Operations for Boyd Gaming.

In addition to the $25,000 donation, IP Casino Resort and Spa team members also collected essential supplies for the Red Cross to distribute to residents affected by the tornadoes, including cleaning supplies, work gloves, insect repellent, sunscreen and bottled water and sports drinks. In all, IP team members filled a truck full with needed supplies on 16 February for American Red Cross to distribute to those in need.
