Keynote lineup set for Gaming Technology Conference in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Three keynoters will headline the Gaming Technology Conference at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino here March 12-13 and they include a leader in the world of new media and top executives from MGM Resorts International and International Game Technology.

Making keynote presentations will be Shawn Rorick, New Media Strategist, Emerging Marketer, Inc.; Scott Voeller, Senior Vice President, Brand Strategy and Advertising, MGM Resorts International; and Staci Columbo-Alonso, VP of Global Marketing/CMO, IGT - International Game Technology.

Rorick of Emerging Marketer will open the conference with a keynote speech called "Moving at the Speed of Change." He will define the speed at which technological change is happening and what vast evolutions the gaming industry can expect to find in the next five years and beyond among consumers and internal protocol. Voeller of MGM, who has played key roles in the development of M Life, MGM's highly successful corporate loyalty program, and MyVegas.com, its leading-edge social gaming site, will discuss the technological and operational disciplines that MGM has used to develop player loyalty. Columbo-Alonso will discuss the scale and scope of the many new partnerships that IGT has formed in the online gaming space and how interactive technologies will transform all of casino-style gaming, including brick-and-mortar businesses.

The three keynoters will be joined by an outstanding speakers' roster of over 50 top gaming industry professionals, drawn from the ranks of information technology, finance, marketing and operations. Session topics include getting connected and staying connected to your guests, Cloud and wireless strategy, mobile marketing, Internet gaming operations, regulatory updates and social media strategies.
