Las Vegas rallies in support of Global Meetings Industry Day

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Las Vegas meetings industry supports 66,500 jobs and generates more than $9.3 billion to the local economy. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is joining the Meetings Mean Business coalition and our hotel partners in celebrating Global Meetings Industry Day.

Global Meetings Industry Day showcases the impact that business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions have on our community.

To celebrate this day, Roger Dow, President and CEO of U.S. Travel Association will deliver a keynote address about the industry. The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion featuring industry leaders from MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, Wynn Resorts, The Venetian and The Palazzo, and the LVCVA.
