MGM Resorts acquisition talks come to an end

(PRESS RELEASE) -- MGM Resorts International confirms that People Incorporated has withdrawn its 1 June 2026, proposal to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the company that it does not already own. Over the past several months, a special committee of MGM Resorts' Board has participated in negotiations with People to advance the interests of its shareholders. MGM Resorts will continue as a standalone company.
