MGM Resorts to install IGT products

(PRESS RELEASE) -- International Game Technology announced that MGM Resorts is slated to install IGT's Cardless Connect technology to provide players with exciting new loyalty card and transaction capabilities through mobile devices. The initial deployment is targeted for MGM Grand Detroit Casino in Q4 of 2016.

Cardless Connect is an integrated technology that can be embedded into a casino mobile app to enable players to use their smart phones in lieu of the physical casino loyalty card. Instead of inserting a card into a card reader, players simply tap their smart phones on the electronic game machine to begin play. The technology also enables cashless gaming and transfers between a player's digital wallet and electronic gaming machines.
