Palms Casino Resort celebrates debut of L&W Lane

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Palms Casino Resort and Light & Wonder, Inc. celebrated the official debut of the new L&W Lane at Palms with a spirited holiday “Keep It or Build It Up” Charity Slot Event, awarding nearly $20,000 among 10 local nonprofit organizations. Designed to pair community impact with the excitement of casino play, the event transformed the branded slot area into a festive, high-energy celebration of giving.

Curated by Palms’ Assistant General Manager Laura De La Cruz, the unique charitable concept invited ten nonprofits—each receiving a $1,000 cash donation and four $250 TITO slot vouchers—to test their luck on any machine in the newly unveiled lane. Whatever the groups won was theirs to keep, creating a rare opportunity to “build up” additional funding for their missions during the holiday season.

Participating nonprofits included After School All-Stars, Communities in Schools, Goodie Two-Shoes, The Shade Tree, United Way of Southern Nevada, Jeremiah Program, Springs Preserve Foundation, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, Edward Kline Homeless Veterans Fund, and the Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children Foundation—whose representative scored one of the night’s biggest highlights by hitting a jackpot on a SUPER HOT FLAMING POTS™ machine.

All 10 organizations expressed excitement and gratitude for the chance to participate, noting the fun, camaraderie, and meaningful support the event delivered.

The newly debuted L&W Lane features 40 fan-favorite progressive slot games, elevated décor, high-energy design, and a lineup of top-performing L&W titles, including HUFF N’ PUFF – WE’VE HAD ENUFF, HUFF N’ TRIPLE PUFF, SUPER HOT FLAMING POTS, TRIPLE BLAST FROM THE PLANET MOOLAH, and more. The launch event treated guests and charity representatives to holiday décor, custom Light & Wonder swag, and a celebratory environment befitting the season.

The L&W Lane is now open to all Palms guests and is the newest addition to the resort’s continually expanding gaming experience.
