Players Network Names Exec

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Players Network (OTC Bulletin Board: PNTV) named Michael Berk as President of Programming. Berk is a well-known writer, producer and director with over three hundred hours of television production to his credit.

Berk created and Executive Produced "Baywatch," the most popular series in television history, and is currently producing a large-budget "Baywatch" feature film for DreamWorks. He wrote and produced the first three-hour movie ever made for television, "The Incredible Journey of Dr. Meg Laurel," the highest-rated movie of the year, averaging a 42 share over three hours, "The Ordeal of Dr. Mudd," another three-hour movie that received two Emmy Awards, "The Haunting Passion," winner of the Venice Film Festival Award and "The Last Song," recipient of the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Mystery Writing.

Berk is also a significant figure in the Las Vegas community, founding the International Film Festival "CineVegas" now in its sixth year at the Palms Hotel and winning the prestigious Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Award in the category of Entertainment. Berk used his strong entertainment background and his Las Vegas and gaming industry experience to become a founding partner and director of Players Network and maintains offices both in Hollywood and in Las Vegas.
