PokerTek adds new Heads-Up Challenge software

MATTHEWS, North Carolina -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerTek, Inc., the industry pioneer and worldwide leader in automated poker tables and related software, announced the addition of multi-player tournament software for its Heads-Up Challenge amusement game. This newest functionality allows up to 8 players to play heads-up poker in a bracketed tournament, just like the pros do on television.

Heads-Up Challenge, which allows players to play Heads-Up Texas Hold'Em Poker for amusement only, is an exciting new coin-operated game, perfect for installation at restaurants and bars. This new functionality offers players the chance to battle each other two at a time, in bracketed tournaments with 4, 6 or 8 players, as well as accommodating one or two players as it does today.
