PokerTek names new consultant

MATTHEWS, North Carolina -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerTek, Inc. (NASDAQ: PTEK), the industry pioneer and worldwide leader in automated poker tables and related software, is pleased to announce that David Sklansky has joined PokerTek's team as a poker consultant, who will focus on providing industry expertise and guidance to further enhance the PokerPro casino product.

Sklansky, a professional poker player and three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, has also authored or co-authored 13 books on poker and gambling theory.
