PokerTek receives temporary Iowa license

MATTHEWS, North Carolina -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerTek, Inc. (NASDAQ:PTEK), the industry pioneer and worldwide leader in automated poker tables and related software, is pleased to announce that the Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission has issued a temporary Manufacturer/Distributor license to PokerTek, Inc. In addition, the IRGC has approved the PokerPro System for field trial, making PokerTek, Inc. the first provider of automated poker for the State of Iowa. ADVERTISEMENT
