Rivers Casino hosting the Philadelphia Poker Championship Series

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Philadelphia Poker Championship Series will feature $550,000 in guaranteed prize pools over 22 days at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The packed schedule includes the $250,000 guaranteed Main Event as well as the popular Mystery Rush ($200,000) and Little Rush ($100,000) tournaments. The series runs from Sunday, 19 February through Sunday, 12 March.

"Our price points will appeal to both our daily grinders as well as no-limit players looking for a higher buy-in that will lead to outstanding prize pools."

Buy-ins for the Philadelphia Poker Championship Series events range from $180 to $2,200, and players will have many opportunities to satellite into the Main Event and Mystery Rush tournaments which includes a guaranteed top bounty prize of $25,000. All three events will be two-day tournaments, with multiple Day One starting flights and longer levels on Day Two.
