Sam's Town Casino Shreveport awards $600,000 jackpot

(PRESS RELEASE) -- A Sam's Town Hotel & Casino Shreveport guest turned his Thanksgiving weekend into a giant win when he hit a jackpot of more than $600,000 playing Aristocrat’s Buffalo Grand. The lucky player won the momentous reward on Saturday, 30 November at approximately 10 p.m.

A resident of Texas, the winner triggered the slot game’s progressive with a $3.75 bet. He then hit three gold wheels triggering the bonus wheel game. As the bonus game spun, the slot landed on “Grand,” hitting the progressive, and awarding him the top prize.

The jackpot was one of two major wins on Aristocrat games at a Boyd Gaming property in Louisiana on 30 November. That same day, a customer at Delta Downs Racetrack Casino & Hotel also won more than a $500,000 jackpot on an Aristocrat Buffalo Grand machine.
