Schulman named to Poker Hall of Fame

During the $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold'em tournament today at the 2025 WSOP, it was announced that Schulman had been selected by his peers to become the 64th inductee into the Poker Hall of Fame.

Receiving one of poker’s highest honors is prestigious in its own right, but what makes Schulman’s induction into the Poker Hall of Fame even more special is how he achieved it in the very first year he was eligible, reaching the minimum age of 40 this past year.

Forever enshrined in the Poker Hall of Fame with the likes of Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Johnny Moss, and Phil Hellmuth, Schulman’s poker prowess, but also his high standing in the community, make him a welcome addition to the game’s immortal class.

At just 40 years old, Nick Schulman has not only become one of the most popular poker players in the world, but also one of the most profitable.

Hailing from New York City, under the tutelage of some of NYC’s best poker players, Schulman turned pro at only 19 years old and immediately made his mark in some of the world’s biggest poker tournaments.

Owning a trophy case packed with hardware from the most prestigious poker tournament series, Schulman is also a regular crusher in some of the highest stakes cash games on the Las Vegas Strip.

Scoring his first victory in a major tournament for $2.1 million in 2005, Schulman never looked back as he has remained a fixture in professional poker for two decades.

Winning his first career WSOP bracelet by taking down the $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Championship during the 2009 WSOP, Schulman's success at the WSOP remains consistent and continues to this day.

During the 2025 WSOP, Schulman reached the prestigious milestone of seven career WSOP bracelet victories after finishing first in the $10,000 buy-in No Limit 2-7 Single Draw Lowball 7-Handed event. Along with over $10 million in WSOP winnings, Schuman’s $24.1 million in career tournament earnings make him one of the most successful poker tournament players in history.
