Scientific Games unveils Kascada

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Scientific Games Corporation is continuing its legacy of developing industry-leading products with the unveiling of the new Kascada cabinet.

Kascada, which will initially launch in North America, is the Company’s first, truly international cabinet and will be available to gaming operators around the world. Built by an award-winning group of Research & Development team members located across the globe, Kascada is the next generation of the top-selling TwinStar J43 cabinet. Kascada offers a modernized version of the J43, boasting an ultra-high-definition 4K graphics display on a 43-inch, innovative double curved monitor and features an exciting new lighting package.

Kascada builds upon the gaming cabinet revolution Scientific Games began with the introduction of the ALPHA Pro Wave, the first curved-screen portrait cabinet. That cabinet sent shockwaves through the industry, changed the look of casino floors and transformed the player-experience.

People Powering Progress

A new, but familiar face to the team is Melissa Price, Senior Vice President of Global Gaming Operations. Price joined Scientific Games from Caesars Entertainment where she spent 13 years overseeing enterprise gaming operations for the corporation’s more than 40 casino-resorts worldwide. Her operator-first perspective will assist in the Kascada global launch.

Adding to this commercial expertise, is the prowess of the studio tasked with developing the first game to be featured on the cabinet. Renowned game-maker Qin You, whose studio is behind the popular themes 88 Fortunes® and Dancing Drums®, has developed exciting new content for Kascada. Building upon her passion for mathematics and history, Qin’s team will unveil Coin Combo™ with the launch of Kascada.
