Slingo wins award

HACKENSACK, New Jersey -– (PRESS RELEASE) -- Women's top casual game leader, Slingo, Inc., was officially informed that their latest download, Slingo Quest(TM), won the 2006 People's Choice Zeeby Award for Best Card, Board or Mahjong Game. The Zeebys is the official award of the casual games industry and is sponsored by the Casual Games Association (CGA) and GameZebo.

The Zeeby was awarded via votes gathered from worldwide casual game enthusiasts for their favorite games through January 31, 2007. Slingo was ecstatic to learn that their exceptional hit Slingo Quest won The Zeeby for Best Card, Board or Mahjong Game of 2006. The awards ceremony took place yesterday, February 8, 2007, at the CGA Europe conference in The Netherlands. John Driscoll, Slingo's Director of International Business Development, was present to accept this special casual game award.

The Zeeby-winning Slingo Quest game was developed and published by long- time Slingo partner Funkitron. Slingo Quest continues to top sales charts since the game's official launch in October 2006.
