The Spa at Beau Rivage earns top 10 ranking

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In 2021, the importance of self-care took an even larger focus for spa and wellness consumers across North America. Based upon unique page views from online spa searches and consumer choices on www.spasofamerica.com, The Spa at Beau Rivage has earn the No. 6 spot on Spas of America’s Top 100 Spas of 2021, jumping from the No. 22 position from 2020 rankings.

“For the North American spa and wellness industry, 2021 was a good, but challenging year. Many resort and hotel spas reported strong revenue, despite having staffing challenges,” said Spas of America president Craig Oliver. “Consumers have been affected by a partially opened economy and changing travel guidelines, which created uncertainty. In turn, they responded by supporting regional spa and wellness businesses, especially drive-to destinations. We expect a strong year for the industry, as pent-up demand will bring out consumers seeking spa and wellness experiences with a focus on health and fitness, leading to improved quality of life.”

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is one of only two spas in Mississippi to make the prestigious list, which features 84 from the United States, 13 from Canada and three from Mexico.

The Spa and Salon at Beau Rivage boasts 14 massage rooms; five facial treatment rooms; a private pedicure room along with a room to accommodate up to five guests at one time; five manicure stations; six stylist stations; a state-of-the-art fitness facility with top-of-the line Life Fitness an Cybex equipment; and separate vanity areas for men and women featuring steam, sauna and whirlpool amenities. The facility has a staff of more than 70 highly trained professionals including massage therapists, aestheticians, cosmetologists, hair stylists and more.

The Spa at Beau Rivage is one of two MGM Resorts International spas to be recognized by Spas of America, joining Immerse Spa at MGM Grand Detroit Casino.

Located on the second floor of Beau Rivage’s hotel tower, the 20,000-square foot Spa and Salon is open daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Locals are invited to enjoy the world-class services and facilities and are offered a 15 percent discount on spa and salon services Monday-Thursday.
