TransAct wins award

WALLINGFORD, Connecticut – (PRESS RELEASE) -- TransAct Technologies Incorporated (Nasdaq: TACT), a leading producer of transaction- based printers for customers worldwide, has been named by International Gaming & Wagering Business (IGWB) a winner in its Top 20 International Gaming Products Awards for the Epic 950(TM) Thermal Printer. Winners were chosen by a panel of independent judges among a field of entries ranging from slot manufacturers, systems and OEM providers to new game development, server-based technologies and security solutions.

The award will be presented to TransAct Technologies by Ascend Media Gaming Group, parent company of IGWB, at a ceremony on January 24, 2007 during the International Casino Exposition (ICE) in London.
