Tribal-ISAC and MS-ISAC continue agreement

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Tribal-ISAC and MS-ISAC, two leading cybersecurity information sharing organizations, continue a strategic partnership that will be on display during the ISAC Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah, 6-9 August 2023. This collaboration aims to enhance cybersecurity resilience within tribal governments and enterprises and strengthen overall cybersecurity across the nation.

The MS-ISAC Annual Conference, a highly anticipated event for cybersecurity professionals across the State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) communities, serves as a platform for experts to share knowledge, discuss emerging trends, and promote best practices in cybersecurity. This year, Tribal-ISAC joins forces with MS-ISAC to contribute its extensive expertise in serving Native American tribes and to help bridge the gap between cybersecurity initiatives and tribal communities.

The conference agenda will include a session dedicated to open dialogue and networking for any representative working at a tribal government or enterprise. Additionally, a networking dinner will also be offered to promote the services and resources available by both organizations. These opportunities highlight the long-standing partnership which serves to foster a cybersecurity-focused culture among Native American tribes. By combining their expertise and resources, the two organizations aim to create lasting impact by ensuring tribes are well-prepared to defend against the ever-evolving threat landscape.

The MS-ISAC has a strong track record in promoting cybersecurity resilience among the SLTT community. As the leading cyber defense center for SLTT entities, the MS-ISAC provides crucial services such as cyber threat intelligence, incident response, vulnerability assessment, and mitigation strategies.
