Trump Plaza runs first tournaments on PokerPro

MATTHEWS, North Carolina -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerTek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PTEK), the industry pioneer and worldwide leader in automated poker tables and related software, is pleased to announce that Trump Plaza will commence tournaments on its 12 PokerPro tables starting August 28. Trump Plaza has been running PokerPro cash games since it went live with the tables on June 13.

"Over the past two months, we've built a strong base of PokerPro players," said Jim Rigot, General Manager at Trump Plaza. "We've had a lot of requests for tournaments, and are pleased to offer them to our players. We have a tournament offering that will rival the best schedules in Atlantic City."

"We opened today, August 28, by offering $18,000 worth of free-rolls over 9 days," said Anthony Spagno, Trump Plaza Casino Manager. "In addition, we're offering two Hold'em tournaments every day and we will even be running a weekly Omaha tournament on Thursdays."

From August 28 - September 5th, players are invited to play in twice daily $1000 free-rolls each day at noon and 8pm. Starting September 6th, a full tournament schedule will be in effect, with daily Hold'em tournaments at 11:30 am ($50+5) and 7:30 pm ($70+7 Friday and Saturday, $50+5 Sunday - Wednesday), and a $50+5 Omaha tournament every Thursday at 7:30pm.
