USPC names new president

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The United States Playing Card Company today announced the appointment of Phil Dolci as president. "Phil's track record of leadership in the areas of new product development and brand reinvigoration for consumer packaged goods companies will be important as we look to expand U.S. Playing Card's market-leading brands," said Michael Cornell, president and chief executive officer of Jarden Branded Consumables, the parent of United States Playing Card Company.

Mr. Dolci is a results-oriented leader with over 15 years of diverse and progressive management experience. Most recently, he served as vice president and general manager within Sanford, L.P., a division of Newell Rubbermaid, where he contributed to the growth of such brands as Sharpie(R) and Expo(R). Prior to that, he was brand director at ConAgra Foods, Inc., general manager at Dean Foods, and in brand management at Kraft Foods, Inc.

"It is incredibly exciting to be part of an organization with classic brands such as Bicycle and Bee that have been part of people's lives for over 100 years. I am looking forward to contributing to and building upon the strong foundation at USPC," said Mr. Dolci.

Mr. Dolci received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Chicago and Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
