Winnipeg casino announce reopening dates

Club Regent Casino and McPhillips Street Station Casino in Winnipeg, Canada announced they will reopen to the public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 29 July.

With the health, safety, and security of our customers and staff at the heart of our operations, we have made several changes to our casino experience that support public health guidelines.

Here’s what you can expect when you visit:

Casino operating hours will be 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. daily, including weekends
Gaming machines and seating have been reconfigured to ensure social distancing
We’ve decreased casino capacity and clearly marked areas where guests line up to ensure social distancing
Guests who appear under 25 years of age will be required to show proof of age ID
We will not?be conducting temperature scans but will ask all guests to self-assess. Guests or staff displaying symptoms of illness will not be permitted entry.
While masks are optional for customers, masks will be mandatory for frontline employees to add yet another component to our safety guidelines. Guests are welcome to bring their own mask or purchase one at our gift store?
New cleaning procedures,?including?frequent disinfecting of all high-touch areas?such as washrooms, gaming machines, ATMs, counters and more
An electrostatic sprayer (Clorox® Total 360® System) will be used to disinfect large areas of the casino between each business day
Giveaways, promotions, special events, and tournaments are suspended until further notice
Club Regent Casino access through the Regent Avenue and Event Centre entrance only
McPhillips Station Casino access through the McPhillips Street entrance and Parkade Skywalk entrance only
Table games, the Poker Room (Club Regent Casino) and Bingo are temporarily closed until further notice. Electronic Touch Bet Roulette is available
Club Regent Event Centre is temporarily closed until further notice
The Gift Shop will be open with limited customer capacity
