WinStar World debuts second Hot New Games area

(PRESS RELEASE) -- WinStar World Casino and Resort officials are making it easier for patrons to locate and try their luck on new games. Casino officials recently introduced a second Hot New Games area in the Vienna Gaming Plaza. The special area is dedicated to showcasing the latest electronic gaming titles, with 51 game titles in this new area.

Debuting in October 2014, the first Hot New Games area is located in the Madrid Gaming Plaza with 27 different electronic game titles.

Casino officials said the second gaming area was added due to the overwhelming popularity of the original Hot New Games concept.

"Our casino hosts are frequently asked by patrons where new games are located or if there are new game titles," said Wayne McCormick, WinStar's general manager. "By adding the Hot New Games area, it allows casino staff to easily direct our guests to try a variety of exciting options. We also switch out the games a couple times a year to keep the selection fresh."

McCormick said the most popular games in the Hot New Games areas receive a "Star Performer" topper placed on the top of the machine. The games are then moved out of the area and placed permanently in a different location on the gaming floor.

Machine vendors include some of the most recognizable names in the gaming industry: IGT, Bally, Ainsworth, Incredible Technologies, Everi, AGS, WMS Gaming, Aristocrat Technologies and many more.
