World Poker Tour and BetMGM announce WPT Online Borgata Poker Open

(PRESS RELEASE) -- World Poker Tour and BetMGM announced today that the WPT Online Borgata Poker Open (19-21 September) will lead September’s partypoker U.S. Network Online Series in New Jersey (12-21 September). The $3,500 buy-in event features a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and will feature a live-streamed final table. The WPT Online Borgata Poker Open represents the latest in the ongoing relationship between WPT and BetMGM, in which the organizations are focused on providing quality, relatable poker offerings and prestigious events with large prize pools available to players.

The winner of this first online US WPT Main Tour event of Season XIX will have their name etched on the prestigious Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup, which touts the name of every WPT champion from the past 18 seasons. All event participants are eligible for points in the season-long WPT Player of the Year race.

Players must physically be in New Jersey to participate in the WPT Online Borgata Poker Open on Borgata Poker, BetMGM Poker, or partypoker NJ. In the weeks leading up, partypoker US Network will host satellites, starting at $5, and a freeroll tournament – providing players chances at accessible entry.
